01.25.2010 .. 01.29.2010 - Cottage Service Op - Simple Way to Help Haiti

Dear Families,

In light of the recent devastation in Haiti, I thought perhaps you'd like to join in this contribution to help those who have lost everything.    I think it's a great way to help, especially if funds are tight, since it doesn't cost anything - just the gently used pairs of shoes that we don't wear in our own closets and our kid's closets.  There will be a drop-off box at the front door of Cottage for the shoes starting on Mon. Jan. 25 and it will remain there during school hours all week until Fri. Jan. 29.  I will be taking the donated shoes in to Sport Chalet on Sat. Jan 30.  The shoes should be bound together with rubber bands.
