Welcome to CottageCoop.org
Much like the old African proverb, “It takes a Village to Raise a Child” - I think of our school as the village - a small, cozy community of parents who care about the quality of education their children receive to the extent that they embrace the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with the teachers and Director to run the school and learn about child development.
As you navigate through the pages of this website, you will gain insight into our wonderful community. The families that have come and gone through our program take with them a lifelong experience of recognizing the individual needs of their own children as well as other children. They come to understand child development, and they come away with parenting techniques that they may have otherwise not learned about, had they not “played” with the children
I hope after navigating this site, you will have gleaned the highlights of our program and are enticed to give us a phone call or send us an inquiring about our program for your family. I look forward to meeting you at our annual Information Nights starting in January and on your family tours.

Kid Talk
As Teacher Gilda was pushing 2 girls on the swing, she made an observation and stated to the girl on the right, "wow you are much lighter than the girl on the left swing" and then she went to the girl on the left and said, "you are heavier than the girl on the right swing".
The girl on the right proceeded to say to Gilda, "Yeah, I do have lighter skin, like my mom's and my skin changes under the sun, and it is glittery when it isn't in the sun". She then said, "yes you're right, me and my friend do have the same color skin"
