Dr. Tina Bryson

Cottage Parent Talk Series proudly presents

Dr. Tina Payne Bryson, PhD

on The Yes Brain and the Importance of Play

Tuesday, March 13th at 7 pm

Pasadena City College

The  Yes Brain

Tina's talk will focus on aspects of the new book she's working on, The Yes Brain.  She will explain about current research into what's called "the science of play."  These studies demonstrate that play is actually essential for optimal development.  It reduces stress and offers all kinds of social, psychological, and cognitive benefits.  Still, play itself is endangered in American schools and homes, as it is replaced by structured activities, lessons, practices, and on and on.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door. General admission $20, Cottage alumni $10, current Cottage families free. We accept cash, credit card, or check (written to Cottage Co-op)
