Unpacking the Backpack of Culture
Dr. Bhatia will help parents become aware of ways of influencing our children's critical thinking skills in regard to culture and race. Raising children who are compassionate and sensitive to others, requires understanding the explicit and implicit messages that exist in the mainstream culture. Through dialogue and interaction, she will help provide tools to make these challenging conversations safe.
